Carn BreaMonday, August 26, 2013
At last, I made it up to the top of Carn Brea, a landmark which rises high above west Cornwall. It was a picture perfect day and the views were pretty incredible, but the wind was crazy!
The monument was built in 1836 in memory of a mine owner, and the castle was never actually a castle but a chapel, and later on a hunting lodge. It's now a restaurant.
This weekend I also went for a 5km run (and slight walk) which was the longest run I've been on... ever I think!
